ICTM Professionals

On our second week, Sir Oli taught us about productivity, it is increasing the value created by the task; decreasing the time it takes to create the value and it is also related to doing something on small amount of time(efficiency) and doing something right(effectiveness). We should do things that have values like if you buy a car you should use it so it won't be a waste buying it and if you do something be sure that it will benefit not only you but also other people.
ICT related to Productivity:
It is reduction of non-value adding task/sub-task. Doing things regardless of time, geographical location and device.
An ICTM Professionals can also be called Information Systems Professionals, they think about technology as data capture, data storage, data and information access and information processing. They are and should be the Masters of technology, Masters of human systems and Masters of designing and implementation pf integrating technology to human systems.
I also learned what is the difference between ICT and CS. We ICTs are the ones who make the things CS do to reality we implement them. We make applications for productivity.
Like Sir oli said: "To be an ICTM Professional, we should start thinking like one." I liked Sir's example like at mcdo why is the line for taking orders so long? when you answer this you should give an answer like an ICTM Professional, the answer would be it is because when someone orders, he/she passes his/her order to the other person to punch and it takes more time than just by you doing it on your own...
