JM's Blog: Analyzing Job Requirements

Our Professor asked us to make a list of the TECHNICAL SKILLS, NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS and RESPONISIBLITIES we saw in the IT job postings. As early as now, we should really start to improve ourselves so it won't be hard for us to look for our jobs in the future...

a. What are the technical skills being demanded of ICTM Professionals today? On the IT job postings I saw the demanded technical skills are the JAVA, VISUAL BASIC, C++ and SQL.

b. What are the non-technical skills that I need to develop now? I know and understand some languages like Chinese, English and Filipino but I don't practice all of them a lot. Communicating with people is really important and it is a big factor if you understand many languages.

c. How do I plan to develop these skills myself? I believe that I can do it because I'm really willing to learn! I will strive harder and do my best. :P
